Limited wedding commissions each year
Meet Brett
Hey, I’m Brett, a Pittsburgh wedding filmmaker, storyteller, and newlywed who knows firsthand just how quickly a wedding day passes.
After filming nearly 100 weddings, I’ve learned that the moments couples treasure most aren’t always the ones you can plan. They’re the nervous deep breath before walking down the aisle and the hand squeeze during the vows.
My approach is personal and documentary-driven. I want your wedding film to feel like you, not an overly staged video built around trends. But honest, cinematic, and full of personality. My goal is to help you stay completely present while I preserve the story, emotion, and atmosphere of your day.
Years from now, I don’t just want you to remember what your wedding looked like. I want you to remember exactly how it felt.
When I’m not filming weddings, I love making films for Pittsburgh businesses, watching a great show on the couch with my wife Jenny, reading a good book or playing guitar.
Not everything deserves to be turned into a movie.
But a wedding does.
Not because it is loud or grand, but because it holds every version of a couple in a single day: nervous, joyful, still, overwhelmed, fully alive.
My work is to notice what’s already happening and preserve it without interrupting it.
Selected Videos
Three weddings. Three completely different stories. Same intention:
Truth, tone & memory.
Cassandra + James
A destination wedding and study in restraint and emotion. Quiet moments and scenery carry the weight here.
“Brett, [the video] is incredible! Oh my goodness. I’m speechless. The more I watch it, the more I love it. The creativity, the thought, everything was on point. And wow, do I love the extra ending… it looks like an old, romantic, Italian film. Obsessed. You have truly outdone yourself and we can’t thank you enough. You are so, so, so talented. Thank you for making our wedding dreams come true.”
— Cassandra & James
Kirsten & Nate
A documentary-style Pittsburgh wedding film that follows Kirsten and Nate’s celebration from beginning to end, weaving heartfelt speeches and candid moments into a deeply personal portrait of their day.
“BRETT ! Just got to sit down and watch ! Absolutely love it ! This is the best video we’ve ever watched. We can’t thank you enough for all the care and hard work you put into it. You captured memories we’ll now have forever, and that means so much to us.”
— Kirsten & Nate
Loran + Sal
Small and intimate. Soft, reflective and deeply personal. Built around sound and stillness as much as imagery.
“Brett Hammon OVER delivered with this video from our wedding! The absolute best! Thank you, thank you, thank you, Brett!!! We love you, friend!!!”
— Loran & Sal Arnita
